At la bartavelle it's clear that the owners care about providing an exceptional food experience and service. We really enjoyed the service, the originality of the food, and the quality of farm-to-tabke sourced ingredients However, in spite of all this care, we found the dishes that we ordered to be a bit lackluster in flavor and the options limited. Please note you should book well in advance, maybe weeks, to come here.

We booked for our wedding anniversary, and what a perfect place to celebrate. It is quintessentially French, set down a small, narrow street with tables spilling out into the street. The service was friendly, un rushed, professional and helpful. And the food... delicious! So tasty. It was a fantastic experience, alongside special evening from start to finish.

A wonderful experience at this restaurant on a quiet street. It was a beautiful, warm day, and while there was no terrace, we didn't mind at all. Dinner was absolutely delicious. The menu was short and perfectly balanced. In short, I highly recommend it. The staff is very professional. No frills. Just good, fresh food. Excellence!

La Bartavelle is a real gem in the centre of Goult, a beautiful and peaceful village in Provence. We had such a lovely evening there. The staff were genuinely kind and welcoming, and every dish was excellent from the amuse-bouche to the dessert. You can really taste the freshness and quality of the products, and the local wine selection was great too. Definitely a place we’d come back to and highly recommend if you’re in Provence.

Sometimes words just can't express what you feel... that's pretty much the case with this review... well, to put it simply, it was a culinary revelation. What a surprise... the setting, the welcome, the food... We'll gladly return to discover the new menu on our next trip to the area! Thank you so much!

02/08/2026: Excellent dinner at this restaurant! The service was perfect, and the dishes were beautifully presented and delicious! The quality of the food and service is definitely worth the trip! Thank you for this delightful break in Goult ☺️
21/07/2026: Le Carillon is a fantastic, authentic restaurant run primarily by a husband and wife team who are welcoming, cordial and professional. Where both food and service are fantastic. Our family rented a mas in Oppede Le Vieux for part of April and all of May. We visited Le Carillon three times - each with different friends or family members. Resulting in universal enjoyment and happiness. The cuisine is high quality and expertly prepared, and service is at the same time friendly and professional. In our experience the dessert "Le Chocolat" was voted best all time by our crew. It's worth going just for that, but the menu is excellent throughout and the prices are reasonable. Can't wait to go back next year. ps: Goult is a charming town with far fewer tourists than other Luberon villages.....
