Today we had lunch at the Auberge la Broc Assiette. We had a wonderful time (unforgettable). Everything was perfect, the food was excellent. The owners and staff were incredibly friendly. Thank you a thousand times over! See you very soon.

Discovering the place, Anne-Sophie, her husband, and the whole team—in a word: fantastic! A remarkable welcome, an inn where all the decor has been carefully curated over the years—true treasures for the eyes. A warm, unpretentious, family atmosphere; it's simply genuine and heartfelt. Thank you for your generosity! As for the food, it was pot-au-feu day, a "simple" dish, but not so simple... heart and soul in the kitchen resulted in an absolutely delicious dish, with wonderful, old-fashioned flavors, incredible quality ingredients, a truly special moment spent with family, where you feel like you're part of the family. Nestled at the edge of the villages of the Pierres Dorées region, the Auberge du Broc Assiette, taken over in 2019 by Anne-Sophie Barrot, who succeeded her mother Noëlle, has all the charm of a wonderful neighborhood inn. Facing the 13th-century church, this unassuming little house transports you to childhood memories the moment you step inside. A grand stone staircase, Art Deco details, and patinated wood complete the picture. The cuisine is perfectly in keeping with this: duck leg to share, fresh goat cheese salad from the village, and deliciously nostalgic charcuterie platters. A true expression of grandmother's cooking. Hearty, comforting, with a fantastic set menu at €28. It's simple, thoughtful, and perfectly in line with its description: a rustic village inn. Pleasant service and a generous glass of wine.

The wait to be served was endless. The food was good but lacked refinement. The atmosphere was pleasant.

The reviews we read about this restaurant convinced us: excellent traditional cuisine (only starters and desserts were available that day), very pleasant service, and a typical regional atmosphere. The owners are equally welcoming and down-to-earth. In short, a great place to spend a wonderful time with family or friends. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

We had lunch for two at this superb inn. Everything was delicious, with a special mention for the coconut chocolate tart. Thank you for the complimentary glass of infused rum; we were quite intrigued by the bottle! A truly excellent and welcoming place that we would recommend without hesitation.

We came to the region with friends (19 people) for the Beaujolais Marathon, and took the opportunity to explore the surrounding area. Based on a recommendation, we had lunch here. We enjoyed everything, from the appetizers to the desserts. The price of €28 was very reasonable for an appetizer, main course, cheese, and dessert. I highly recommend this restaurant and advise making a reservation.
