If you're a foodie, love nature, peace and quiet, and being by the Charente River, then you've found the perfect place. A plate full of originality, homemade bread. Thanks to a local service, we discovered L'Amaranthe. Thank you for this wonderful find in Port d'Envaux, this lovely little village.

A peaceful spot (at least on a Friday lunchtime) with a stunning view of the Charente River. Seasonal cuisine with a well-chosen vegetarian option. Warm welcome. A very pleasant experience (especially if the terrace is open in good weather).

08/12/2024: We ate this afternoon for our wedding anniversary. Once again, we really enjoyed our meal. We are never disappointed. Still very good. The lady is the only one to serve, and she goes out of her way for everyone. I recommend this address and we will come back. Joël and Dominique 🌹
