One of the special things about rural France is that you can find amazing restaurants just about anywhere. We were on our way to another town and passed by this place on the way. It looked so nice from the road that we decided to stop in for lunch instead of moving on to our original destination. We were very glad we did. The location is perfect, along the Canal du Midi tucked under trees. You can eat inside or in the garden weather permitting. The service was excellent and the food definitely upscale but affordable. Highly recommended if you're going to be anywhere nearby.

We had a wonderful time for our 3 years of marriage! The meal was delicious, the place magnificent. It was the first time I came to this restaurant and I will definitely come back.

It's been a while since I've been there and it's still perfect. We had the menu for €27 and on the terrace at lunchtime it was really very pleasant. I highly recommend.
An exceptional setting on the banks of the Canal du Midi and refined cuisine won us over. We will come back with pleasure.
The staff is pleasant and competent.
It is now 30 years since I first ate here and it still does not disappoint. I had lunch with family and friends including my 18 month old grandson who roamed free between mouthfuls of food without causing the slightest problem for staff or guests. The food was as good as ever, the best in the region, and Bruno’s welcome was as cordial as ever. I came back for dinner a few days later with a friend and had another wonderful meal.
