Auberge de la Croix-Blanche sur Marcilly-En-Villette

We visited this very welcoming Sologne restaurant on June 14th, where the service was friendly and highly professional. The dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. On this sunny day, we enjoyed our aperitif, coffee, and digestif outside in the shade of the trees. The prices were very reasonable considering the quality of the food. A place to visit again and again! We were part of a group of six, but there were only five of us! Thank you, and we look forward to returning to your establishment.

I was in this village of 2,000 inhabitants with my 24-year-old son for the golf tournament. What a wonderful surprise this restaurant was! Exquisite amuse-bouches, original and well-executed starters, and generous main courses (I had the 12-hour marinated pork). Not a huge selection of wines by the glass, but that didn't matter when the food was so delicious and reasonably priced! I recommend it, though I'm not being very original since they're listed as a "gourmet restaurant" by Gault & Millau! 🤣
