Unforgettable stay, service and cuisine at the peak of perfection. A very nice surprise for me and my family staying in this little haven of peace that I particularly like. Too bad it was a little chilly, we would have enjoyed the pool and its charming and friendly setting.
We had lunch this Sunday in this typical Sologne restaurant. I sincerely regret that this restaurant, although often considered of quality, is not regularly gourmet and lives up to the prices charged. No accompaniment with a glass of champagne at more than €12, no fish available (difficult for customers who don't like meat), a coffee without sweets, in short, a service lacking in generosity. It's a shame compared to other less expensive and better appointed gourmet restaurants. Perhaps we came on a bad day, we hope so because, otherwise, I fear that customers who communicate with each other will end up giving this beautiful establishment a miss.
A welcome worthy of a real inn. We arrived late during the week and were very well received. The meal was superb and seasonal. A must-do for a truly Sologne-like atmosphere.
