Between Saintes and Cognac, dare to stop by! Perfect cuisine! Delicious and generous foie gras with little touches to discover. We went for the kidneys (cooked to order, pink in the center for me) and the sweetbreads (divine and very generous). And then the revisited Black Forest cake, perfect after this wonderful meal. Not forgetting the perfectly smooth coffee. Bravo and thank you!

Excellent experience. It's quite rare to have such a pleasant surprise. Everything is perfect, within the budget of a daily menu. The place is elegant, the service discreet, and the cuisine is refined and surprising. In short, well done.

Nice place but remember to book, the room is small. We ate well but were a little put off by the quantity/price ratio (even if it is a restaurant considered semi-gastro, it was light). Be careful if you come with children over 10 years old who do not have the appetite of an adult, the children's menu is not allowed for them. Uncomfortable service... We were a table of 7, the room was full, the person was alone, certainly, but that does not prevent a kind word.

The price-quality ratio is out of line with reality. The price for a dessert which was a slice of brioche, whipped cream and a scoop of ice cream was over 12 euros...huge...we paid 75 euros for 2...a poor quality tournedos for 25 euros...definitely to be avoided!

09/12/2025: We celebrated my wife's birthday this past Saturday, December 6th. There were 16 of us. Everything was absolutely perfect, from the initial contact to the event itself. The food was unanimously appreciated, and the quality of the service, both discreet and efficient, sealed the deal for us. As an added bonus, since we wanted to organize a karaoke session, the establishment kindly provided us with a video projector and screen free of charge. Thank you for this wonderful service.
