It's December 24th and we just ate. A sublime meal. We thank the entire service and kitchen team.

Superb restaurant full of charm and truly excellent food. There were nine of us and very little waiting between courses. The staff were fantastic and very pleasant.

What is the dish? We don't know what to see or guess.

The atmosphere was very pleasant, with very good, hearty dishes at very reasonable prices.

Thank you to all the staff at this restaurant where we spent a lovely "wedding" evening on October 31st. The manager and staff were all attentive, friendly, and very accommodating. The dishes were delicious and very generous. You will certainly see us again, and I encourage those who haven't yet had the pleasure to visit your restaurant.

Found by chance and doing things right the daily menu (limited quantities, so book and arrive early) is unbeatable value for money. But the à la carte menu is too. The staff is attentive, which is rare in this type of restaurant. Add to that a warm atmosphere and you have a wonderful time.

The food and service was really nice. A special shout out for Sabine for doing an excellent job despite being the only one to cater to customers.

I often arrive at 1 p.m. for lunch, but I make reservations; it's often full because it's such an excellent value for money restaurant. How can the previous person judge the food without having eaten there?

A fantastic, hearty and tasty lunch, delicious ice creams, come with your eyes closed, you won't regret it.

A great place in downtown Ambert for a casual, epicurean meal. The portions are generous, the dishes delicious, and the setting is rustic and authentic. The value for money is also excellent. The only downside, if there was one, is that the establishment doesn't accept restaurant vouchers, which is somewhat paradoxical.
