I came to eat here yesterday and I don't regret it.
The food was excellent and delicious.
The roasted Saint-Nectaire cheese was divine.
The service was quick, efficient, and friendly.
If you're passing through Ambert around lunchtime, don't hesitate to stop by. Reservations are recommended.
The new owners are very welcoming and the new menu is very tempting; the restaurant is full and a victim of its own success, so be sure to book! The steak tartare is perfectly executed and seasoned, the frogs' legs are plump and unlimited with a perfectly flavored parsley sauce, excellent value for money, a simple and effective wine list with something for everyone, and the original desserts are a delight. We will return and highly recommend it (we have a 45-minute drive and it's well worth it).
A very pleasant and indulgent moment, especially try the caramel pavé, a pure delight, and the excellent frog legs too, not forgetting the burger for the Fourme d'Ambert cheese.
Superb restaurant full of charm and truly excellent food. There were nine of us and very little waiting between courses. The staff were fantastic and very pleasant.
