As planned, we returned on 11/12/2025 with friends, it was perfect, there were only a few of us and the service was relaxed.
The waiter joked around, the quality is always there, honestly, don't change a thing.

Located opposite Lake Gabrière, the inn offers a selection of surf and turf dishes prepared with refinement and precision. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal!
However, although the wait time between ordering and receiving our food should be indicated on the menu, it seemed like an eternity. Definitely something to improve.

In this price range and even beyond, it is quite simply my best restaurant of the year: the products (all!) including the bread were tasty, the portions generous... Everything is homemade: it is evident at first glance and with your teeth. The meat was cooked perfectly (blue) and what's more it was hot, which is extremely rare. I don't like fish or desserts very much and yet, I really enjoyed the carp fries (a real discovery) and the millefeuille that I added at the end to prolong the moment.

Very warm welcome, delicious meal (carp fries, red lentil soup, farm-raised guinea fowl, tiramisu).
The staff is very welcoming and full of humor.

The restaurant is great, the dishes are beautiful and delicious with local products. The setting is very pleasant with a magnificent pond. The service is always very attentive and they build customer loyalty. A gem of Brenne!

It had been a good 10 years since we had visited this establishment. A vacation in the area gave us the opportunity to return.
No notable changes, simple dishes and good ingredients. The only downside was the chocolate dessert. The location is definitely the added bonus.
