Very well located in the heart of Brenne, it's a shame the pond was empty after the terrible fire at the beginning of this summer in the heart of the park. We love this restaurant; the owner and staff are lovely. The food is absolutely delicious. The welcome is warm, and they always take a moment to chat with us. We can't wait to try a night at the hotel. Thank you to the whole team, because we now understand how difficult things are becoming in the restaurant industry.

Friendly welcome, decent room, excellent mattress (I didn't have any back pain), shower a bit cramped for larger people. Very, very good "brasserie" (restaurant/restaurant), Caesar salad with hen instead of chicken was much better, tender Black Angus beef, very good strawberry tart. The waitress was great, but the waiter was tired and stressed; we asked him several times for a carafe of water... some people (who arrived after us) were served before us, but not all at the same time. I'm on holiday, we were served together, which is the main thing. Breakfast at €12 is a bit expensive; €8 seems more appropriate for what's on offer. We left after breakfast. Two English women were staying an extra night; the owner, speaking fluent French without making an effort (no English/French menu), explained to them that the breakfast room would be closed the next morning, so breakfast would be served in the room with a microwave to heat up the coffee! €24!!! Madam, you could/should have! (since your hotel is open) Offered a much more convivial breakfast at the bar.

Dinner on the terrace for 4 people (sea bream). Decent. However, the waiter offered us fried carp to accompany our aperitif (a small 80g bowl with mayo) without mentioning the extra charge of...€12!
