Auberge de la Haute Lande sur Bourideys

A very nice place, with good, generous food and a super friendly team. The dining room inside is decorated in a typical Landes style, and there's a lovely terrace outside.

Everything is 5-star: the food, the service, and the atmosphere (the waiter provided impeccable service from start to finish). However, I assume the owner was the one who gave us a cold welcome despite arriving 15 minutes early. She was unpleasant, and when we left, she said in front of other customers, in a rather unkind tone, "If we had paid..." What discretion, Madam! The waiter told her, "Yes, they paid." Be more discreet, and if necessary, stay behind your till. This would avoid offending the customers you consider so important. Don't judge a book by its cover, Madam.

Superb place, delicious food, warm welcome. Competent staff. A bit outside Bordeaux, but well worth the trip. It's a shame they're announcing the closure for reasons I won't mention. We were lucky enough to experience it. Best of luck to you, people who are so dedicated to your work.

The place is unique. Enjoying typical Southwestern cuisine in a tiny village nestled among pine trees, with a modern twist. Everything is homemade. Very low prices and unbeatable quality make it the best restaurant in the region! But be warned, it's only temporary; the owners have decided to close on August 29, 2026! A real heartbreak for all the regulars!!! I hope this review reaches many people; this place is unique and deserves to be known before it closes its doors. Thank you to the restaurateur for this unique and enjoyable experience.

Excellent food of very high quality, the atmosphere was great, and I found the place very welcoming. I recommend it 👍

Very friendly and competent staff. The meal was hearty and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it and I will definitely be back.

We ate at the Auberge de Bourideys on Sunday to celebrate my in-laws' wedding anniversary, and we had a wonderful time. The cuisine is simple, authentic, and above all, very generous. The dishes are delicious and the portions are substantial. The value for money is truly excellent. The welcome is warm, and you immediately feel at ease. The setting is beautiful, peaceful, and very pleasant, ideal for sharing a good meal with family or friends. A truly wonderful place that we happily recommend. We will definitely be back!

Great restaurant, a friendly atmosphere that truly represents the Landes region. A big thank you to Liam who provided superb, dynamic, and always smiling service. A top-notch team! I wish you all the best and continued success.

Traditional and delicious cuisine, with a good selection (just the right amount). A real treat. Attentive and friendly staff; we highly recommend it and will definitely return.
