Auberge de la Jument Verte sur Villey-Le-Sec

We had a wonderful time at the Auberge de la Jument Verte. The food was excellent, everyone at our table loved the dishes, the setting is magnificent with a splendid view over the Moselle valley, and the service was absolutely impeccable.

Excellent time, punctuated by delicious dishes. The waitress's wine recommendation proved very helpful. We were going to leave a bad review just for the sake of it, but since the waitress physically threatened us, we'll say everything was perfect 😜 Special mention for the shaded and airy terrace, which was very pleasant!

We had a very pleasant meal on the terrace. We were very satisfied with our meal. However, we found the wine prices a little high.

A lovely spot with a view of the forest and the Moselle River. The service was impeccable, the meal delicious and beautifully presented. We waited an hour for our food. I ordered the seared steak tartare, which arrived completely overcooked, practically boiled, with burnt potatoes. During this wait, there was nothing to nibble on. After asking, we were brought some canned asparagus without any seasoning. The other dishes were just okay, as were the desserts. One of the cloth napkins was full of cigarette burns. The couple we were with had a dog, and there was no water bowl. The outside temperature was 32-34 degrees Celsius. When we went to pay, there was a sign stating (weekday set menu €24). I asked the cashier why they hadn't offered it to us. Their response: "Today it was tongue, but it wasn't cooked. Besides, can't you hear the cooking noise?" Given the average ratings and the majority of comments, I must admit we don't understand. Having booked through your website, you have my email address and phone number should you wish to contact me.
