We were hoping for an amazing experience... While the food was good, a gourmet menu, the service fell far short of our expectations: the welcome, the location (first room), the unprofessional, unmotivated service, and the lack of explanation, even regarding some changes... This negatively impacted our enjoyment of the meal and the dishes... A huge disappointment...

Christmas dinner picked up from Klauss's inn: everything was excellent!
Very generous portions, lots of flavor in every dish, and clear instructions for reheating—everything was perfectly planned.

We ate as a party of three.
The price of the seafood sauerkraut wasn't mentioned when we ordered, the steamed potatoes that came with it were undercooked, the cheese plate was still expensive (€18), and the waiter did nothing to make it a pleasant experience with exceptional service—far from it. The manager shouted information about seating across the room without any regard for the customers already eating. No fewer than three different waiters came to ask us if we had chosen our menu within five minutes…
In short, we had a good evening, but thanks to ourselves, because we're in the restaurant business and therefore demanding, but we keep things in perspective.

A lovely and delicious restaurant. Everything is homemade. The charcuterie and meats come from their own farm. The staff is very friendly. The chef is excellent; there were large tables, it was full, and we hardly had to wait at all during our meal.
The only downside is that it's a bit noisy, but when you're having a good time, it doesn't matter.
It's definitely best to make a reservation.
