We had lunch at this inn for Father's Day at noon. The meal was delicious, but the prices were about 30% too high. The staff were friendly, but their uniforms, which were wrinkled and stained, were regrettable. Over €85 for a meal without drinks.

We had a wonderful time at Auberge de la Klaus.
Even before sitting down to eat, we explored the wine cellar, a magnificent and truly unique space, brimming with local products and exceptional wines. It's a real pleasure to browse and adds to the charm of the establishment.
The meal was generally of very high quality. The foie gras appetizer was slightly less fresh when served, giving it a somewhat gelatinous texture. However, the pan-seared foie gras with its julienne of green apple was excellent, with a beautiful balance of flavors. One small detail about the bread: some slices were cut a little too coarsely and were rather thick.
For the main course, the duck confit was perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful. However, the duck breast could have been cooked with a bit more precision.
The dessert, a macaron-based creation accompanied by mousseline, strawberry compote, and homemade strawberry ice cream, was technically very well executed. However, the overall effect felt a little unbalanced, with a dominant sweetness. A more neutral element, such as a lightly sweetened biscuit, would have created greater harmony.
The service was provided by a smiling, attentive, and very pleasant team. Our only minor complaint: none of the dishes were presented upon arrival at the table, which is a shame in an establishment of this caliber.
Despite these few remarks, the experience remains overwhelmingly positive. The quality of the cuisine, the setting, the exceptional wine cellar, and the friendliness of the staff make this a truly wonderful restaurant that I wholeheartedly recommend.

Wonderful meal, wine, good atmosphere, but the service could be much better. I felt like I was bothering them every time they brought the next course. I will return and hope the service will be better.

Excellent welcome. The cellar tour by Mr. Charles Keff was exceptional. A huge thank you for the wonderful Aloxe-Corton. The products we purchased were delicious, and we rediscovered the flavors of yesteryear. Dinner delighted our friends who came from all over France. You are a source of pride for the Moselle region. I've never been disappointed by this restaurant. Their foie gras and duck breast are incredible, and the wine is excellent.
The decor changes with the seasons.
