Hendrik’s love for local cuisine, self sourced ingredients and home-cooked food is contagious. Short, regularly changing menu at a very reasonable price! And… what a great view over the Loire river. We wish you all the luck in the world for your new adventure.

I ate at the Auberge de la Loire restaurant with my family, and as soon as we left, we immediately booked a table for next time because the menu left us wanting more! The setting is ideal, right on the banks of the Loire. The dining room is bright and spacious, with elegant, refined, and airy decor. The most interesting thing is the very inventive and committed approach to cooking. Dishes highlight the raw ingredients simply through their names. Let yourself be surprised by this original menu! It's subtle, delicate, and delicious. All the ingredients come from the Maine-et-Loire department (49), and there are a lot of organic products... In fact, I'm an organic vegetable grower myself, and they chose to use our vegetables here.

First of all, we would like to thank you for your warm welcome and excellent service. The meal was delicious and of very high quality! I should mention that my husband had booked this restaurant before telling me about it, and given the reviews, I was quite hesitant… As it turns out, this inn-restaurant has only been under new ownership (a young couple) for about three weeks. Indeed, the quality of both the service and the meal met all our expectations. Thank you also to the waiter who gave us excellent advice on wine selection! We hope to see you again soon!

New owners for a week now. Sophisticated cuisine bursting with flavor, a menu featuring fresh, local ingredients. Children can enjoy the same menu as adults, but in smaller portions (a welcome change from steak or ham and fries), and they loved it. Don't hesitate to give it a try.
