Auberge de la Montagne Noire sur Saissac

Seated on the terrace (which slightly overlooks the street), the setting is very pleasant despite the street, thanks to the various plants that partially screen the view and create a more intimate atmosphere. The staff is lovely and the food, simple yet excellent, is delightful. We had a wonderful evening.

Excellent place to eat in Saissac. The lamb was cooked to perfection with pearl onions.

A very warm welcome with a smile. Breakfast service with everything you could want. Small shaded terrace. The furniture is a bit dated, but it's very comfortable.

A delightful surprise in Saissac. Passing through the region, this restaurant-bar was a real gem. The setting is idyllic, with a magnificent shaded courtyard under a pergola of lush vines and wisteria, and a charmingly rustic interior. As for the food, the promise (100% homemade, fresh, and local produce) is fully kept. Special mention goes to the excellent foie gras and the creamy panna cotta served with coffee – pure bliss! Add to that impeccable service, a smiling and attentive team, all in a very friendly atmosphere. A must-visit with excellent value for money. I highly recommend it!

Homemade food. We came twice and weren't disappointed; my husband even said the crème brûlée was better than my mother-in-law's... That says it all!
