Dining at the Auberge de la Rivière was a truly delightful experience. The cuisine was refined, showcasing the best ingredients. The service was friendly and attentive. The decor was warm and authentic. In summer, you'll appreciate a meal by the Vendée River. Reservations are recommended.

A bucolic spot by the river, the ground-floor rooms are beautifully decorated with a terrace, and the meals are excellent! A must-see for a romantic weekend.

Excellent family meal for Grandpa's birthday. A very warm welcome, a beautiful setting, and delightful discoveries on the plate. Thank you to the kitchen team and kudos to the servers for their discretion and kindness. We'll be back in warmer weather to enjoy the charming terrace.

So what can I say? Too much, unfortunately! We were locked out at 2 a.m. due to a mistake by another guest (which shouldn't have happened)! 😅 Luckily, the service was decent. They came despite the late hour, offered us a snack, and provided financial compensation. Perfect. We were moved to another room, but without our belongings, of course. I'll stop there... I spent one night there on a business trip. My room was clean, modern, well-decorated, and well-equipped. The setting was idyllic, even romantic, by the river. The welcome and service were good. The location is a matter of personal preference; if you're looking for nearby activities, it's not ideal, but if you just want a good night's sleep, it's perfect. Very good value for money (at least in the off-season).
