Everything, absolutely everything, was perfect. The warm welcome, the intimate setting, the bold and flavorful dishes, the inviting atmosphere, the impeccable service, the thoughtful explanations before each plate was placed on the table or each glass refilled... Undoubtedly one of the best restaurants between Saumur and Chinon. In the heart of one of the most beautiful villages in the region. Nothing to criticize. An excellent choice.

Fantastic restaurant! The setting right next to the collegiate church is magnificent. The food was delicious, everything was perfect. The service was also excellent. However, the prices are a bit too high for my taste, but L’Auberge de la Route d’Or remains a great place to eat.

A wonderful time at this little restaurant at the foot of Saint-Martin Church. A warm atmosphere, with unique, seasonal dishes made with high-quality, local produce. The restaurant was much more expensive than indicated on the website. The welcome was good, but that's not enough. There were practically no vegetables; the chuck roast consisted of just two small pieces swimming in broth with a few undercooked vegetables. The fish was passable, but there were very few vegetables. Only the dessert was of good quality and quantity. We came because the reviews seemed positive, but we certainly won't be back.

An excellent restaurant that we recommend to our guests at Domaine du Val Sauvage.
My 9-year-old daughter loved the poultry on the menu this April. We were particularly impressed by the chocolate dessert and the quality of the charcuterie.
In the summer, the outdoor seating is a real bonus.

An unforgettable experience! We had a wonderful meal in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The owners are lovely. Conversation, sharing, and laughter were all part of the experience. They introduced us to a wide variety of wines with passion and generosity. The food and wine pairings were fantastic!
We loved it… so much so that we went back the very next day 😄 A big thank you to the chef for her delicious dishes. A truly exceptional place.
