A nice tavern on the way to the next destination. Beautiful view of the surroundings and snow-capped mountain peaks in the distance. I was here just before closing time (3 pm - 5 pm). The owner was kind enough to offer me another drink and to let me continue enjoying the surroundings on the terrace during closing time.

Super!! Always friendly, very professional. Ate there once and it was delicious, and had several coffees with pastries, which were also good.

A small restaurant in Saurat at the Col de Port offers a starter, main course, and dessert. There are a few parking spaces a few meters from the inn. You have the option of eating outside.

The Auberge de la Sapiniere is located at 1248 m on the Col de Port. The view is magnificent.
The food and service are wonderful, and dogs are welcome.
We enjoyed fresh trout. The food is freshly prepared and tastes delicious.

A beautiful day in the snow and a truly excellent meal.
We didn't leave hungry.

A very warm welcome, both from a very friendly young woman and from the owner, who was perfectly at ease and attentive to her guests.
The inn is unique and full of charm. Don't expect Michelin-starred service, and that's clearly not the aim: the food is very good, well-prepared, and the price is reasonable considering the setting and location.
The only slight drawback: the breakfast could be improved… but that's probably just my sweet tooth talking.
Otherwise, no complaints. A great place to stay; we'll definitely be back when the weather is warmer.
