quite disappointing restaurant experience: no table ready for the reservation time (still happening), our waiting table in the garden near a rat trap, a camembert gougère as an aperitif served without a napkin (too bad for those who do not eat cheese because there is no substitution), good dishes, but expensive and lacking in generosity. No one took our wine order. The bread crumbs on the table could have been wiped away before dessert. What is the “Collection Saint Siméon” label for? Maybe our expectations were too high? On the other hand, a good chocolate dessert and smiling staff.

We had an idyllic stay here 😍 We only stayed one night but we were able to appreciate the exceptional setting, the cozy room and the delicious breakfast. It is an ideal place to recharge your batteries with the gentle sound of water. A little haven of peace!

I hesitated for a long time to give 3 stars but that would be a disservice to the cuisine (very well presented and fine dishes) and to the general atmosphere of the place which is splendid. The service was very pleasant but I admit that I have never experienced such delirium at this level of service displayed… An attentive start of service with a young woman alone, then the arrival of a colleague to lend her a hand during the meal (there were only 4 tables to serve), a frequent passage of people occupying rooms then the arrival of another young woman who was apparently more in charge of the rooms (not in restaurant service attire), then that of the head waiter towards the end of the meal. At one point I would have thought I was in a Spanish inn, there were so many different people there. During the meal, while my wife is still eating the main course and I have finished my plate, I am taken away and 1 minute later the cheese is brought back to me, and the young woman who opened the service tells me at the same time time “I say goodbye to you and wish you a good afternoon” I still admit that I have never seen that for a “gastronomic” restaurant. After discussing with the maître d' after the meal, this change of server / departure before the end of the meal was normal because it was a change between the morning and afternoon shifts. Improbable for me, especially when you put 2 vintages of Pétrus on the wine list… I insist on the fact that the servers were very pleasant and dedicated, for me the question falls entirely to the management regarding the organization which is simply not worthy and acceptable in an establishment of such standing.

We came to the restaurant, magnificent setting, top service, thanks to Alain. The meal nothing to say from start to finish thank you for this good time for my birthday.

The place is charming: the garden is poetic and the rooms are very pleasant. Special mention to Alain who was perfect throughout our stay.

Excellent Sunday lunch in a superb setting. The staff takes great care! To make you have a great time. Special mention for Alain and Soïzic who welcomed us very warmly. The food is fine and original. We will resell with great pleasure!

Magnifique endroit où déjeuner dans un écrin de nature ! Le menu découverte en week-end est vraiment très intéressant pour justement découvrir pleins de saveurs différentes. L’équipe est au top notamment Alain qui est toujours au petit soin avec nous, (& toujours le mot pour rire également ça fait du bien 😉) merci ! Déjà des habitués, nous reviendrons à coup sûr !

We had the lunch discovery menu. The five dishes were each beautifully presented , expertly cooked but above all very flavourful. The wines were excellent and the service was friendly and efficient. The view across the garden was beautiful, even in the rain. We were very, very, satisfied.
