What a wonderful surprise! We came for lunch today and what a surprise it was! The menu was delicious, from the beggar's purse to the "Semons" salad, and the pork chop was of fabulous quality! The desserts were very good, although the soft-baked cookie was perhaps a little overcooked! But we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We will gladly return.
Panoramic view of the Rhône, pleasant welcome, a lovely discovery. However, I do not recommend the hamburger; the shredded duck is served in a very basic way with overcooked and fatty duck, a slice of cheese, and that's it, accompanied by a few fries.
We were a little disappointed. We came to this local establishment based on the photos of the dishes and the reviews. Has there been a change of ownership? A change of chef? The dishes were basic. We didn't get the "bistronomic" style dishes we saw in the photos. Furthermore, the placemats were broken and old, whereas in the photos they were very nice, charcoal gray. The decor in the photos is also more modern... What happened in just a few months?
The gentlemen, however, were pleasant and we still enjoyed our meal 😉
A truly wonderful place, the food is excellent and the service is very welcoming.
From the appetizer to the dessert, everything is superb 👍
The best part is the magnificent view over the Rhône Valley.
