Renaud Darmanin is passionate, and it shows. The menu is more local than ever (you don't forget your roots that easily): the vegetables come from the garden, and the suppliers are all nearby. That evening, we had asparagus from a local producer and a divine bisque, as well as melt-in-your-mouth lamb in a reduced jus, not to mention a truffle-infused bone marrow that was simply divine. And on top of that, the service is impeccable. Head straight to Marcolès!

Two nights spent in the chocolate room and dinner at the gourmet restaurant: The room was very comfortable (perfect bedding, elegance, tranquility). We loved the dinner (starter, main course, dessert, and excellent wine pairing advice). The staff were very friendly, attentive, and responsive. In short, a perfect stay to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary.

Excellent restaurant, original dishes perfectly prepared with regional and seasonal produce, all served by a very friendly and remarkably efficient team, not to mention the excellent wine selection and the sommelier's expert advice. One might wonder once again how the Michelin Guide awards or removes its stars… we'll probably have to learn to do without their opinion!

The hotel is superb, ideally located between Figeac and Aurillac, in a very pretty village. It's a 4-star hotel and it deserves it. The welcome is very warm, with staff who genuinely want to connect with guests. We had a meal at the Michelin-starred restaurant (the "discovery" menu, which is supposed to be 4 courses, but actually turns into 7 courses with all the extras...). Everything was perfect. The dishes are very sophisticated and truly excellent. I was initially hesitant about the cheese course, thinking the chef hadn't had any influence on it, but in the end, being able to taste all these local cheeses was a real treat. Next time, I won't opt ​​for the wine pairing but will simply order a bottle of wine directly.

If the hotel services are on par with the restaurant, then this establishment truly deserves its stars! A pure gastronomic experience offered by Chef Darmanin, enhanced by a very welcoming and professional staff.

An unforgettable gourmet dinner. Everything was perfect, from the warm welcome upon arrival by the efficient and discreet staff to the chef's delectable desserts at the very end of the meal, not forgetting the homemade breads that accompanied each course (a different bread for each course – the chef truly pays attention to detail!). The sommelier's recommendations enhanced the entire experience. Special mention goes to the maître d'hôtel who adapted the menu to accommodate my food allergies, allowing me to dine with complete peace of mind.
