A very pleasant place with a calm atmosphere. The welcome was warm and the service was perfectly timed. The food was classic and had a touch of originality.

We were inspired to visit the restaurant by a scene from the German film "303" that was filmed there, and we were completely satisfied. Attentive service, great food – highly recommended.

Lunch as a couple before visiting the Château d'Ainay-le-Vieil.
Sweetbreads with morels without a single piece of morel, just a sauce with a morel flavor... is not sweetbreads with morels.
I was given to understand that I was just unlucky... oh well... The other dishes weren't bad in themselves, but they definitely lacked flavor and seasoning.
I'm usually an easy-going and tolerant customer, but this time... meh...

Lack of signage, remove the fencing on the exterior barrier (it looks shabby and gives an impression of neglect), don't forget to do a self-check before opening (no toilet paper at 12:00), remove the dead plants on the low walls inside, service: black boards instead of plates should be used judiciously depending on the dish served.
Friendly staff.
Weed the surrounding area, access ramp, and stairs.

A very pleasant surprise at this lovely restaurant just steps from the abbey. The cuisine is simple yet refined. The portions are generous, whether it's the monkfish, the salmon, or the sweetbreads, all cooked to perfection. The service is quick and the terrace is very pleasant.
I highly recommend it.

Fantastic food and great location. We have eaten there a number of times over the years and have never been disappointed. The setting and service are great. The menu is limited but changes regularly. The ingredients are top quality and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended. Reservations recommended. The Abbey of Noirlac is just opposite the restaurant and worth the visit.
