The hostess's commitment and passion were immediately apparent. Despite our reservation initially being declined, she contacted us herself to welcome us half an hour later. This immediately created a warm and professional atmosphere. The setting is very cozy, peaceful, and inviting – a definite plus. The welcome went smoothly, and we were immediately given the aperitif menu, but unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse after that. It took about 30 minutes for someone to come and take our order. The hostess herself offered sincere apologies, which we greatly appreciated. The difference in professionalism between her and the other table staff was clearly noticeable. At times, it seemed as if there were no clear agreements, which also led to frustration among the staff. This manifested itself in a somewhat disinterested attitude and awkward moments, such as offering to sample wine while we were still enjoying our aperitif. The food, on the other hand, was absolutely top-notch: excellent value for money, and compliments to the chef! With a little more attention to communication and service from the table staff, this restaurant could easily become a five-star experience.
