The broth was excellent, the calf's head was superb and plentiful!! The starters were also very good, the service was excellent, the waitress was very smiley.

An excellent restaurant. As a broth lover, I found this one truly exquisite. The dishes are of very high quality. In Montpon, apart from Le Petit Gavroche, there wasn't another restaurant worthy of the name. So thank you!

We came as a family and had a wonderful time at Le Bouillon Populaire restaurant. We absolutely loved it! The bouillon concept is trendy right now, but here you can tell it's really well done. You'll find the true classics of French cuisine, cooked with care. A resounding success! We tried almost everything: egg mayonnaise (the mayo is truly excellent), leeks vinaigrette for €3.50 which is so delicious it deserves a mention, beef bourguignon for €13.50, sausage and mashed potatoes for €9.90 which is a real treat for the taste buds… The portions are generous and each dish is beautifully presented. Special mention goes to the tarte tatin and the floating island for €4.50; we practically fought over who got to share this dessert! 😅 We also started by trying the Hugo Spritz, which we highly recommend! The dining room is bright and inviting; you feel comfortable as soon as you sit down. The service is attentive and quick, without you having to ask for anything. The real standout feature: you can eat very well for under €20 per person, with generous portions and high-quality cuisine. Exceptional value for money, hard to find elsewhere. In short, a restaurant just the way we like it: generous, delicious, affordable, and welcoming. We'll definitely be back. 🙌
