We visited this wonderful, idyllic spot in the heart of nature during our Alsace holiday at the beginning of September and were absolutely thrilled. We ate at least ten different restaurants and wine taverns (winstubs), and everywhere we received excellent service and the food was superb. But what our palates experienced here was far superior to the quality of other cuisines. The food was truly top-notch, so much so that we simply had to return. A huge compliment to this fantastic kitchen, and if we ever visit beautiful Alsace again, we will most certainly dine here once more.
Today I attended a fantastic wedding, and Elmerforst catered for them. I highly recommend them; everything was delicious, the team was incredibly friendly and always smiling... a real pleasure!

Excellent lunch on August 15th featuring the traditional spit-roasted wild boar and beef, along with a salad bar and a large dessert buffet.
