The setting of this restaurant is exceptional, in a clearing surrounded by the woods of the Balbronn Forest.
A family gathering over an excellent meal. The strawberry cake for 60 people was delicious. We would have happily had more.
This place is worth braving the access road, which really, truly needs to be renovated.
A starting point for beautiful walks and hikes in the surrounding area.
As a native of the region, I discovered this gem. The road leading to the inn deserves a complete renovation. The inn, nestled in the heart of the woods, is located in a vast courtyard where tables are set in the shade of century-old trees. The place is airy and full of charm.
The menu offers starters and main courses made with quality products, enhanced by careful presentation. To celebrate a birthday, we ordered a frozen vacherin: a delight.
The staff, smiling and impressively efficient despite the crowds, helps make the experience even more enjoyable.
A wonderful discovery, congratulations to the whole team!!!
As usual......very good quality welcome and service.
A small downside for this Easter Sunday, not the slightest little chocolate egg. Very unfortunate, for the symbolism and for the 3 little children who accompanied us.😔
This is not a traditional Alsatian inn, make no mistake. Very good dishes, well prepared. But not the quantities from our grandmothers' kitchens. Very friendly service.
