A wonderful place to discover 🤩 A superb aperitif with quail eggs and black tapenade ❤️ Meltingly tender sweetbreads and a marvelous nougat ice cream ❤️ Excellent service and great value for money 🤩

Nice little guesthouse that I visited on my trip through France. Stayed in one of their rooms which has the necessary. Simple and nice decor. The restaurant which is located one floor above is beautifully decorated in an old farm building with a boat-shaped roof and a large open fireplace. Ate here is a three-course menu. Had fois gras for starters. Salmon with lobster sauce as a main course. Dessert. Nougat ice cream. Beautifully presented and tasty. Highly recommended as a good place to visit if you come to the area..b

Le Grand Hotel a Ussel

25/02/2026: We stayed one night while passing through, but they were very kind. Quiet and very clean. The breakfast is worth it.
23/01/2026: We had a wonderful weekend, a very warm welcome, very kind and helpful staff, and attentive service. As for the hotel, it's a beautiful hotel in a great location with impeccable hygiene. We had a lovely room; both the room and the bathroom were very clean and welcoming, with very comfortable mattresses. There was a good selection for breakfast. 😊 What more can we say than that we had a very good weekend, too short in fact, and we will be back very soon. We highly recommend it.
