Excellent restaurant! I highly recommend the lovely terrace in summer, located in a beautiful valley in a quiet corner of the Northern Vosges Regional Park. The service is excellent and fast, even when it's busy. Special thanks to the kitchen and dining room staff, especially Anne Lucie and Déborah, the owner, among others I'm forgetting. For those unable to travel, they also offer takeaway pies; pick them up on site. Accessible for people with reduced mobility. It's well worth the trip to try it!
The service was truly unacceptable. The wait between two flammekueche courses was very long (even though it wasn't particularly busy), and one of the waitresses was neither friendly nor welcoming. We had to ask for everything several times: the wine, which arrived halfway through the meal already opened (really??), the carafe of water without water glasses, and the flammekueche with apples without changing the plates.
We had already noticed this during our last visit.
It's a shame because the flammekueche itself is excellent, but the service is also part of the experience, and we won't be returning.
A very pleasant surprise, a friendly welcome, excellent tarte flambée, and a lovely setting (terrace under the trees).
The troglodyte houses to visit are a 2-minute drive away – perfect! 👍🏻
