It's always a great pleasure to return to the Auberge de l'Île. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal in a relaxed atmosphere where there's no fuss, but where the service is excellent. Thank you, and see you soon for another culinary adventure.

We had a wonderful meal; it was magnificent, especially the little bites offered with the aperitif. The small amuse-bouche before the starter was a lovely touch. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and pleasant. We will gladly return.

A very good restaurant with a pleasant setting on the banks of the Vienne river, generous portions and delicious amuse-bouches. It's best to book in advance to be sure of getting a table.

On our second visit, our first impression was confirmed: a truly talented couple of restaurateurs. The cuisine is full of flavor, inspired yet simple. Everything is just right: the freshness of the ingredients, the seasonings… The service is deeply personal and attentive in a family atmosphere, the wine list is extensive… and finally, the terrace overlooking the Vienne River is superb! … the prices reflect the gentle charm of the Touraine region… Honestly, it's worth the detour!

A superb discovery during our stay near Chinon. A huge thank you for the warm welcome and impeccable service despite the rather high temperatures outside. We thoroughly enjoyed everything from the appetizer to the dessert, starting with a tuna tartare followed by a duck breast with orange and chorizo – absolutely delicious! The terrace is superb, overlooking the Vienne River.
We will definitely be back on our next trip!

Excellent restaurant! We celebrated my parents' 55th wedding anniversary there and had a wonderful time. Dinner on the terrace overlooking the Vienne River was a very pleasant setting. The octopus starter and the pike-perch were excellent. The strawberry puff pastry was the perfect ending to the meal. A truly great place!
