Auberge de Loubens sur Loubens-Lauragais

We struggled to find a restaurant to eat when we were staying in the Caraman area, but thank goodness we stumbled across this place not too far away. The stylish interior has a calm ambiance with an open kitchen area where you can see your food being freshly prepared. Our wonderful hostess, Lucy, could not have been more helpful or welcoming to us, explaining the menu from French to English, and even patiently encouraging my attempts at speaking French! The food was delicious and perfectly cooked, so we couldn’t wait to return twice more! Highly recommend. (Steph & Brian)

After sampling french restaurants in Toulouse and Carcassonne for a week, this was our clear favorite. The food was very satisfying, both in taste and consistency. The beer selection was great - try the beers from La Boussole, a local brewery. Sit by the window and enjoy a panoramic view.

A beautiful place where it is good to linger in the evening, very warm welcome, service very concerned with doing well and the well-being of visitors. Good dishes in a very pleasant and friendly setting. A very friendly little village inn where we are happy to return.

Perfect, a great place with great, very good, fresh dishes, top service, I fully recommend. Good atmosphere with the kitchen open to the bar. Everything is perfect!

I have been coming there for several years now and I have never been disappointed, you can go there with your eyes closed, the staff is top notch and the careful, seasonal cuisine is very good value for money...all accompanied by a very good selection of wines...
