An inn located in a charming village overlooking the Forez plain. While avoiding the usual clichés of an inn, the place is new, clean, and the tables are spacious. The welcome is friendly, the service impeccable, unobtrusive, and always delivered with a smile. The home-style cooking is delicious and perfectly honest about the quality of the ingredients. We were a little disappointed by the menu. The starters were advertised as prawns, but they turned out to be shrimp (albeit well-cooked). As for the main courses, the Fourme cheese sauce for the veal and the lobster sauce for the monkfish were practically nonexistent. The desserts were decent. We have mixed feelings, as the ingredients were of good quality, but the cooking lacked precision and finesse.

Simple yet effective and original cuisine in a pleasant setting. An excellent discovery: seared shrimp with sweetcorn cream, truffle oil, and popcorn. The young woman serving was professional, attentive, and pleasant despite her youth; the job suits her perfectly. The young man seemed rather jaded; it's going to be a long season. 😬 It's a shame we weren't allowed to choose our table for two.

Passing through the area, we had booked the day before. The welcome and service were impeccable, and the waiters were very friendly and polite. The portions were reasonable, the food was delicious, and the presentation was lovely. We highly recommend it and will definitely return.
