We came because we couldn't find any open restaurants in the area, and to our great surprise, a Valentine's Day menu awaited us with a succulent meal and the best tournedos Rossini I've ever tasted. Everything was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the owner was very attentive and pleasant to talk to. Kudos to the chef! We will definitely return and recommend it 1000%. The Aubois.
We discovered Marville, a small town that has retained its Renaissance charm.
The hotel itself—the main building—is very authentic. The restaurant has a cozy dining room with a real fireplace. It was warm. And the food was delicious. The prices were very reasonable.
We stayed in another building. It was cold in the room there. We turned on the heater. Breakfast was in the same building—it was very cold.
It's probably best to come here in the warmer months.
The view from the room was magical.
