Hello, the food wasn't up to par. The accras were bland, the main course was dry fish with no sauce, the accompanying couscous was dry, and the dessert tartlet was undercooked. Either the chef needs to be replaced or they need to improve. Perhaps I just didn't go on a good day. The server was nice. I think this review is a bit long, but it's not the food's fault. I'm not sorry, I'm just being fair, and it wouldn't be doing them any favors. I hope they improve; this is constructive criticism.

We had the pleasure of discovering this magnificent inn on Monday at lunchtime, and what a delightful surprise! Despite a packed terrace with a group of over 30 people, the service was remarkably smooth and professional. The welcome was incredibly warm, and we felt expected and pampered from beginning to end! On the plate, everything was a true delight: the mackerel, the tomato, the beef tartare, and the cheese platter were all perfectly executed, featuring high-quality ingredients. But the real highlight was the selection of desserts: an absolutely divine cheesecake and an incredible cloud cake, reminiscent of a lemon meringue pie, exceptionally light and perfectly balanced. This is a place where passion, generosity, and attention to detail are evident at every turn. We will return with the greatest pleasure!

The meal was good but simple. The garden was a bit outdated. Improvements to enhance comfort and living conditions at the castle would be a plus.

We'd been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time, so we took advantage of the evening of July 13th and enjoyed the outdoor dining option. We received a very warm welcome from Morgane, who was friendly and always smiling. The staff was responsive and attentive. The buffet-style appetizers and grilled meat and fish were perfect, and the service was friendly. The dessert was fresh and delicious. We'll definitely be back after this very satisfying first experience.

Located right next to Montpoupon Castle and recommended by the Michelin Guide. The waitresses are very kind and attentive. The dining room is pleasant and dogs are welcome. The food is decent, but the prices are a bit high.

Excellent service; we had a lovely time from aperitif to dessert. The restaurant's ambiance perfectly complements the Château de Montpoupon: elegant but not over the top. The dishes prepared by the chef were superb. In addition to the waitstaff, we also had the pleasure of chatting with the chef and his wife; they are all very approachable and pleasant people! I highly recommend it.

The fire pit evening was nice, but we expected better from a place we knew about 5 years ago. We felt there was a restriction on the food, even though it was supposed to be all-you-can-eat… And the staff's children were prioritized over the customers (we didn't get what we wanted for dessert because the staff member's little girl wanted banana, so we had to wait for her to serve it before we saw and learned that there was none left). It's a real shame… Otherwise, the meat and salmon were very good and well-cooked; the chef knows how to use his fire pit :)
