An excellent choice ✨️ We had dinner at Auberge de Montpoupon and it was delicious. The restaurant has everything we love: a small menu with simple but very well-executed dishes. We received a particularly warm welcome, excellent advice, and impeccable service, which completely convinced us of the quality of the place. We highly recommend it!

A visit to the Château and why not have dinner nearby? There's a charming little inn with easy access to a parking area at the rear and a lit path leading to the courtyard. We push open the door and are greeted by Morgane, a professional and smiling woman who seats us. Over an aperitif, we peruse the menu: simple, clear, featuring regional dishes sourced from local suppliers. Refined cuisine. Finally, a moment to share with the Chef and his wife, the passionate owners. A big THANK YOU for this discovery, which we highly recommend. Long live them and their establishment!

Invited by friends, we had a wonderful meal at the Auberge de Montpoupon. Everything was delicious, perfectly seasoned, and well-portioned. Many thanks again to the chef and his team who accommodated my wife's dietary restrictions. We will definitely be back.

During our first week in the area, this was by far the best of the three fine-dining restaurants we visited. Charmingly situated, the outdoor tables were set up in the courtyard due to construction work on the main terrace, creating a lovely atmosphere. The interior is also very attractive. The welcome was very friendly, both on the phone and in person. The service was polite, attentive, and prompt. The food was excellent. My husband had an appetizer I was almost envious of: a mushroom tartlet prepared in different ways. My own starter, salmon émiette, was also delicious. For my main course, I had baugrain chicken ballotine, while my husband had Charolais beef fillet*, farm-raised onion foie gras, summer truffle, reduced truffle jus, and sautéed potatoes. Both dishes were deliciously prepared and beautifully presented. For dessert, we both had roasted prunes with honey and rosemary and yogurt ice cream. Delicious! The menu is clear and concise, with three dishes for each course and a suggested set menu, which I think is fantastic. I would have loved to try everything. This restaurant definitely deserves the Bib Gourmande award. The prices are very reasonable, if not downright cheap (39 euros for a three-course meal). The restaurant was quite busy, and they offer a children's menu. Reservations are recommended, even on the same day if necessary.

Very good, quality is there but limited quantity for the price.

The main courses are well-executed and refined, the setting is pleasant, and the service is excellent. The wine list is reasonably priced with a good selection of local wines. The children's menu features the same dishes as the adult menu, with smaller portions, and works very well too. However, a few things could be improved: the starters are served sparingly, the portions could be larger, and unfortunately, the desserts are not all equally complex. Finally, the €39 set menu only offers one course option from the à la carte menu, which is a shame because the bill can easily reach €50 with three courses if you deviate from the set menu.
