Grandma's cooking in an authentic Valois atmosphere! Located at the crossroads of the two immense forests of Compiegne and Retz, the Auberge de la Vallée is a comforting stopover. I often walked past it until the day I finally tried it! And what a moment!! Fireplace, delicate service, tasty dishes... Everything is homemade! I enjoyed lingering, chatting with the other customers, then the owner, and finished lunch on the sunny terrace in the middle of October. An enchanting interlude!
