It's been ages since I've had a good, piping hot Alsatian meal, prepared with care! We happened to be in the area after work, looking for a place for a traditional meal, and we were more than impressed! Even with just one person serving, it was perfect. Well done to everyone! And the price was very reasonable too. Bravo!

A very good, generous meal with excellent service. The only downside was that we were using a Smartbox voucher and were required to order a set menu. It was impossible to choose from the à la carte menu, even by paying the supplement. This is a real shame because, not being from the region, we came to this restaurant to eat the typical Alsatian dish: sauerkraut! Seeing it on the next table made our mouths water... Perhaps, to improve things—and to be positive—they should inform customers of the set menu when making their reservation.

The location is very pleasant and the restaurant has potential, but the overall experience could be improved. Orders were taken very quickly, giving the impression of being rushed. Dishes weren't served simultaneously, and some side dishes were forgotten. The food was decent but didn't live up to my expectations. The steak tartare didn't even have basic seasoning, leaving the customer to prepare everything themselves. The homemade spätzle were also far too greasy. Despite these drawbacks, the establishment has a pleasant atmosphere and real potential.

To celebrate our 9th anniversary, we went for lunch this Sunday at this inn, where we regularly eat. We sat under the patio, which was converted into a charmingly decorated old barn with antique tools. The meal was delicious and generous, as always. I wholeheartedly recommend the Auberge du Trou du Cru. Fresh, local produce. Be sure to book ahead, as it's often full.

The decor is original. The service is competent. The food is high-quality and very generous. I recommend this establishment. The cordon bleu with Munster cheese is a real treat. The local beer is also excellent.
