Beautiful place with stunning landscapes. The room was small, but clean. Excellent dinner.

An unforgettable experience in a secluded mountain idyll - with small drawbacks My stay at the Hotel Auberge de Thiéry was an adventure that I will not soon forget. The journey itself was something very special - a picturesque, if adventurous, drive up the mountain that ends in a small, absolutely remote village. The road there literally ends in the village of Thiery, and the large parking lot at the end of the path is shared by the hostel's guests and the village's few residents. This special location and the charm of the small village immediately captivated me. The warm welcome from the owner of the hostel reinforced the positive first impression. I would particularly like to highlight the dinner: there was delicious, freshly prepared fish that the owner cooked for both the guests and the 50 or so residents of the village. That was an extraordinary experience and gave the dinner a very special flair. However, the rooms are very simply furnished, you shouldn't expect luxury here. However, anyone looking for something special and original will feel at home here. Unfortunately I had to cut back on breakfast. The selection was very limited and fit on a single, round tray - that's certainly a matter of taste, but for me there could have been a little more choice. Despite the small drawbacks, I was impressed by my stay at the Auberge de Thiéry. It was a unique experience that I won't soon forget. Overall I give it 4 out of 5 stars. If you appreciate simplicity and originality and are looking for a stay away from the hustle and bustle, this could be the right place for you.

Unique place, the owners are welcoming, warm and offer excellent cuisine with local products. The atmosphere there is unparalleled, I will go back.

I drove the Grand Alpes route and ended up here by chance. My impression is that the whole village is chilling and eating here. Everyone was very hospitable :) There was no WiFi in the room, otherwise everything was great :)

Stayed two nights here and had a truly amazing stay! It's quite a road up to it, but very well worth it. Simple, clean and comfortable room with amazing view over the mountains. Super friendly owners and staff, with lovely homemade food for lunch and dinner. Very relaxing and some good walks in the area.

We booked by chance and it was a nice surprise. Pierrick and Stéphane our hosts are adorable, caring and smiling, it is a very friendly and family place. they share their good humor, the clientele is simple and friendly, and the proximity between everyone makes the place warm.

A special place - the village is as if separated by mountains from the rest of the world. The owners of the hotel are great. A wonderful place for those who love peace and walks in the mountains.
