Another lovely culinary discovery tour, just the way we like it, featuring products from local producers. A real treat!

In the Cévennes mountains, mushrooms and truffles are usually found among the chestnut trees. Here, we discovered a true gem. At the Auberge de Valestalière, everything is perfect: the setting, a creative menu that changes weekly, designed exclusively with local products, and attentive, discreet service. Anyone who hasn't yet been is perhaps missing out!

The food is always delicious and original; the dishes are very well-prepared, with a special mention for the desserts. The service is friendly and efficient: very pleasant. In addition, we ate on the terrace in the evening, and the view is superb. Whatever the season, we always enjoy coming.

As with each of our visits, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The welcome, the food, the setting – everything is designed to ensure you have a truly pleasant experience. Thank you to Suzanne and Romain for spoiling us.

A wonderful discovery in the Cévennes National Park. A former school, a terrace with an unobstructed view, and a warm, efficient welcome and service. As for the cuisine, it's clear that Romain has trained in some top-tier establishments: the visual appeal, the finesse and complexity of the flavors, the pursuit of perfection—everything is there and worthy of a Michelin star. The only slight drawback is that this level of quality requires preparation time, which impacts the length of the meal (over two hours); but it must be said that Romain is alone in the kitchen with one assistant (which explains it), and this minor inconvenience is quickly forgotten thanks to the quality of the meal and the excellent value for money.

A beautiful, serene place surrounded by greenery. Refined cuisine with original flavors. Excellent dessert. Highly recommended. A very good address.
