I had the 3-course lunch menu, and the server was friendly. The food consisted of beef carpaccio, Bolognese spaghetti, and caramel panna cotta. The spaghetti noodles were slightly overcooked, but the sauce tasted very good. Since Paris is very hot right now, I think it would be a good idea to sit here in the shade rather than in the sun, as it is cooler and has a nice breeze.

The food was tasty and upon arrival the service was cheerful and attentive. Dad arrived and unfortunately that affected the service. They were still friendly and attentive, but we noticed the underlying tension. A shame, but you can certainly just eat pizza and pasta here, and at more typical Dutch times too 😀

I hesitated to go in at first, but the young man there and his warm welcome drew me in. It was one of the best dinners I've had in Paris. The service was excellent, the food superb, and the atmosphere wonderful.

23/09/2026: Nice bar/tobacconist with a friendly welcome
05/09/2026: From the €19.00 set menu, I chose the Burrata, Roasted Peaches and Serrano Ham starter, which I found excellent, and for the main course, Morteau Sausage, Polenta with Comté cheese, and Old-Fashioned Mustard Sauce, which I found good and generous. I also ordered a digestif: a tasteless Mirabelle plum brandy, a low-end, industrial quality, for €6.50 a glass, which was truly disappointing. A good Mirabelle plum should normally release powerful aromas of yellow fruit, honey, and a light note of sweet almond. The staff was good, and the restrooms were clean.
