The price of success? Last year and on different occasions, we praised this friendly establishment. A cool and very pleasant terrace under the mulberry trees. A friendly, efficient and fast service. Very popular traditional cuisine, a modest price, 18.90 for the starter, main course and dessert menu. Since then, the cuisine remains very pleasant but the prices have exploded. No trace of the menu, an Asian beef tartare at 25 euros, a starter around 10 euros, a gourmet coffee for dessert at 10 euros and we arrive at 45 euros per person. Without the drinks. Because charging 15 euros for a 50 cl pitcher of rosé is obvious abuse. The owner can be given addresses near restaurants where the same pitcher costs 5 euros. The pint of beer is very honest but forget all fantasy by having a digestive! In the end, three of us, one lunchtime, we reached the sum of 180 euros! It hurts a lot in a small village far from everything. Not far from there, a Michelin-starred bistro costs 37 euros for the starter, main course and dessert menu. There is no photo. Really a shame because the place, the setting, the service, the quality of the products are notable.

When you make food this good when there is no competition within 10 km it means you love your job so well done and thank you it was excellent

Omdat het hard regende hebben we geschuild aan de bar. We zagen hoe het team druk bezig was met de voorbereidingen voor de avond. ‘s-Avonds teruggegaan waar we werden verrast zowel qua gerechten (opmaak, smaak en combinatie) als qua vriendelijkheid. Wát een enthousiasme en vakmanschap Celia, William en team: bedankt voor deze onvergetelijke avond.
