Excellent restaurant! Impeccable service! Exceptional cuisine!!! A real pleasure

2026. It has been 4 years since we first visited and reviewed this restaurant. It has become one of our “go to” restaurants of choice each year we return. This is by far one of the best restaurants in this area. Wonderful staff, wonderful food! This restaurant is a must if you’re in the area. 2022. We ate there last night and it was amazing! The patio/terrace was beautiful, the staff were welcoming and efficient, and the food was wonderful. We really enjoyed our evening and will definitely be back.

Perfect! Delicious gourmet cuisine full of flavor and refined. The staff is very friendly. We had an excellent evening. Go there and especially book ahead because it's a favorite among food lovers.

We had lunch at Auberge des Carrières recently and as usual, opted for the three course, €30 menu which really is exceptional value and changes weekly. It’s very reasonably priced, but the food feels a clear step above the usual bistro fare you often find around France and Provence. Chef Niels manages to make the dishes more gastronomic than standard bistro fare, with thoughtful presentation and flavours that feel refined without losing their warmth and generosity. There’s a lovely shaded terrace outside that makes it a perfect spot for a long relaxed lunch on a warm day - although during the recent heatwave we opted for the air conditioned interior. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and the staff (led by co-owner Virginie) were pleasant and friendly throughout the meal, which added to the experience. It’s the kind of place that feels unpretentious but quietly ambitious at the same time — somewhere you can enjoy excellent food without any fuss. The menu is more expensive at night, but also more complex to make up for it. A favourite of ours and very highly recommended.

We were so lucky to have got a last-minute table at this wonderful restaurant and felt even luckier after we had such an incredible experience. We sat outside on a lovely covered terrace amongst other people having a similarly joyful dinner. The service was faultless but relaxed and personable – them having as good a time as we were. The food was perfect from start to finish (actually making me hungry just choosing the photos to include with the review), nicely presented, homely and local yet delightful quality, cheeses fantastic with the signature Toblerone dessert (not the one in the photo) being a favourite. The wine was great too. Can't wait to be back, thanks so much to the whole team!
