I recommend: Well located for exploring the region. Easy parking. Very good half-board stay. Really cordial welcome by Mr and Mrs. Beautiful twin room of good size, nicely decorated, super clean and very comfortable bedding, well soundproofed by double glazing and charming, very traditional wooden shutters. No elevator but our luggage was taken to the 2nd floor spontaneously THANK YOU for this attention. A large common leisure room with a view of the landscape. Meals all local, very copious and varied. Top breakfasts. Really congratulations to these young hoteliers who are very attentive and friendly. Well done ! and good continuation

Bar restaurant with very friendly staff, quality, local food at reasonable prices for the products offered. Traditional atmosphere: simple and open to sharing and communication. Small producer market in the morning at the parking lot. (At least on Mondays)

We stayed here for one night in the lovely scenic Cevennes village of Le Pont de Montvert. The auberge is quaint and set back from the river and a small stone bridge which adds to the charm. Our reservation was for accommodation (see separate review) which included a 3-course dinner which was a bit of a disaster. We did not enjoy or finish either of the dishes. When asked if “everything was ok”, we politely advised that we were not enjoying the food. When paying at the front desk, we were subjected to somewhat of an inquisition on why we did not like it which was a little uncomfortable! We were on a 3 week trip to France, all our meals with either very good or excellent with the exception of this one. Given this treatment, we decided to pass on breakfast the next day and walked across to the little café across the bridge for a coffee. We should have perhaps had dinner there the previous evening! On check out and to their credit, they deducted the cost of dinner, but this didn’t make up for what was quite a mixed experience.

Tres bon moment. Le cadre, l’accueil, les plats, le service,… haut niveau. Nous avons très bien mangé. C’était top. Merci
