Auberge des Chasseurs sur Clesse

Great discovery. We hadn't booked, they managed to find us a table even though the restaurant was full. Frog legs are excellent. We hope to be present again the day before the Viré cyclosportive in April.

If you are in Clessé and looking for a local restaurant serving honest family type food, l'Auberge des Chasseurs ticks all the boxes. Easy to access and with a free parking next door, you can chill out at the 'terrasse' while waiting to be served. Staff very friendly and looking after your needs and special requests. The menu 'A la Carte' is displayed on the black board, up to you then to select what suits you most. We went for the 'Pintade Forestière' with 'Ratatouille', nicely presented on a delicious mushroom creamy sauce. Local well known white wine from 'Domaine Michel' was our selection for the main and also for the local Burgundy cheese selection.

Tijdens onze doorreis gaan eten in dit restaurant omdat we hoorden dat er daar lekkere kikkerbillen konden eten. Ze waren heerlijk.

Everything is perfect: a smile from the entrance and very good dishes, a family atmosphere which immediately won us over, special dog friendly mention 🐶 🙏🙏
