Absolutely fantastic!
The terrace is lovely and shaded, the food is incredibly good (they know how to cook more than just fries!), and the service is very pleasant.
I highly recommend this restaurant!

Discovered by chance one evening at the observatory, we had a delightful and enjoyable time. The service was top-notch and the food was a treat for the taste buds, all in a pleasant setting. (Also available if you're in a bit of a hurry.)
I will gladly return and recommend it for a wonderful experience.

If you're in the area of the domes
of St. Michel de l'Observatoire, then make this gourmet stop, where goats graze under the stars, producing cheeses like the famous Banon, as well as other unusual varieties. If you want to try it, be sure to book early, as the tables are highly sought after
because the Provençal dishes are so delicious and authentic, prepared by Chef Paul in the kitchen. This inn deserves Michelin stars 😊

Very good food...friendly welcome and staff...
The only downside...the location is right on a small road which should be very quiet, but unfortunately...there's a very frequent passage of large motorcycles!! Noisy and full of exhaust fumes!!
The iron terrace chairs are very heavy...and therefore also very noisy!!
It's a shame because you come to the countryside for peace and quiet!
I would gladly try it again in winter...inside!

We had lunch there on May 17, 2026, at noon. It was nothing like the Coupole we knew. The foie gras still had its packaging in it. The foie gras itself was good, but they didn't change our cutlery. We were then served fish after the foie gras, and my andouillette—what an andouillette!—boiled, then finished on the grill for two minutes, if that! Both dishes were barely warm!
