We had lunch there on May 17, 2026, at noon. It was nothing like the Coupole we knew. The foie gras still had its packaging in it. The foie gras itself was good, but they didn't change our cutlery. We were then served fish after the foie gras, and my andouillette—what an andouillette!—boiled, then finished on the grill for two minutes, if that! Both dishes were barely warm!

Welcoming, very pleasant atmosphere, we were there as a family. The food was excellent, and the children's menus were also really good and of the same quality as what we ate ourselves – that's rare. We enjoyed ourselves just as much as the last time we came a few years ago.

What a pleasant surprise this inn in Saint-Michel was!
Delicious dishes, beautifully presented vegetables, a tasty children's menu (and not frozen like you sometimes find), and lovely homemade desserts!
All this on a pretty shaded terrace, with a very friendly waiter.
One small complaint? Our son suggested a bigger pond for the carp 😆
