Amazing place and hosts, such lovely people. After travelling through the Pyrenees for two weeks, we finally felt like we ate proper, good French food. It was trully excellent, best meal we had all trip. We hope to come back here one day and regret staying in Aulus-les-bains instead of here. If you are planning to explore the area, I would definitely recommend this hotel as your base. Or also just for a one night stop or to eat. We also saw an otter swim as we sat at our table overlooking the river. The owners can tell you all kinds of amazing things about the region and they are happy to have a chat with you which is great if you're looking for things to do

We arrived unexpectedly on a Saturday evening, June 6th, 2026, at 8 pm, with 11 people. We received a wonderfully warm welcome. The meat was perfect, the cassoulet perfect, the foie gras perfect, and the presentation of the meat before cooking was exquisite. I highly recommend this restaurant.

A rare and relaxing place. A century-old inn, authentic and welcoming, nestled beside a mountain stream. Nine comfortable, unique rooms with bathtubs. Excellent dinners served on the terrace. We spent three very pleasant days there. This inn is well worth a visit, and even worth the trip for those seeking peace and quiet in a little slice of paradise.

A truly wonderful discovery at this inn! We were looking for a secluded spot, in the best sense of the word, and we received such a warm welcome that we left already thinking about our next visit! The photos accurately reflect the experience; the bedding was spotless, and we slept very well in a spacious room. As for the restaurant: a menu like you rarely see anymore! Plenty of choice, but above all, each dish is explained in detail, sometimes with helpful tips. A huge thank you to the chef who takes the time to visit the guests whenever possible, providing attentive service! It's so rare these days that we felt it was important to highlight it. Of course, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The restaurant was fully booked. We discovered Millas, a must-try dessert! For that alone, I could go back!

A romantic weekend getaway to relax. Ideal for rest, a very cute garden by the river. Beautiful room with a river view. Very good half-board meals. Excellent value for money. Charming owners. A must-see. Close to Mas d'Azil, Saint-Girons, Saint-Lizier, and Alus-les-Bains, along the magnificent mountain pass route. A wonderful stay.

The place and staff are warm and welcoming. The innkeepers offer a high-quality and original menu, as well as clean and comfortable rooms, not to mention the very pleasant little garden.

A lovely little hotel in a beautiful location near a river and a forest. We opted for half-board and everything was excellent: the dinner was delicious and plentiful, as was the breakfast. We'll definitely be back!

Absolutely love this inn! It ticks all the boxes! From the moment you step inside, the warm and authentic wooden decor sets the tone: you're exactly where you wanted to be. No false promises, no unpleasant surprises—the place lives up to what you expect from a true inn, and that's rare. The location is ideal, and the owners are absolutely delightful, helpful, and attentive, with a natural generosity that makes the stay even more enjoyable. You feel like a regular from the very first minute. As for the food, nothing to complain about: dinner was delicious, and lunch was too. Honest cuisine, just like the place itself. You leave with a full stomach and a light heart. An address to treasure and recommend without hesitation. We'll be back!

A charming inn with very welcoming staff. Ideally located for skiing. However, don't opt ​​for the meal if you're tired; the food is delicious but the service is terribly slow – 2 hours and 15 minutes for a meal is interminable.
