In the Pays d'Auge region, on the road to Château du Breuil, we had lunch in Pont l'Évêque at this charming restaurant. The food and service were excellent, perfectly complementing the setting. We had a very enjoyable lunch with the set menu. I personally ordered the fish soup followed by the beef with Pont l'Évêque sauce. It was delicious. I highly recommend this wonderful discovery.

Simple but very tasty food. Good wines, also by the glass, and not excessively expensive. Pleasant and efficient service. Highly recommended. The only downside: few vegetables.

The meals were very good, around twenty euros for the set menu. There's a terrace and dogs are welcome. They accept holiday vouchers.

Excellent restaurant and very warm welcome. The only downside was the intense heat in the dining room (Pentecost weekend) and the lack of air conditioning or ventilation. Perhaps it would be wise to consider this, given that the climate isn't expected to improve. Otherwise, perfect. Christine and Eric

Spa Le Lion d'Or

17/05/2026: We had a wonderful weekend at the spa hotel on May 2nd and 3rd. The suite was magnificent, the treatments were perfect, and the spa was fantastic. The staff were incredibly kind and pleasant, especially your colleague who was in charge of breakfast with her cheerful disposition and laughter 😁 We look forward to returning. Best wishes!
16/05/2026: The hotel and its facilities ensured that our holiday, which unfortunately came to a premature end, still had a very pleasant conclusion. We experienced the hotel as an oasis of peace and well-being that we really needed at that moment. Truly a winner👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

30/07/2026: A restaurant we used to frequent when visiting Normandy. It recently changed hands; the new owners are very friendly, and the renovations have made it a very pleasant place. However, the menu is a bit of a letdown, lacking the Norman specialties it once offered. The food is still good, but the prices are too high.
29/07/2026: A great find. Simple menu with fresh, seasonal produce. The back terrace is very pleasant.
