Auberge des Girards sur Saint-Paul-En-Cornillon

Superb inn, we ate very well, the charcuterie, cheese and potato pancakes were delicious, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and all for a very reasonable price, the staff were friendly, only downside is that the inn does not accept cards and we were informed of this on site so we had to go and withdraw cash 10 minutes away by car.

To celebrate my dad's 90th birthday, we ate at the Auberge des Girards. We had a wonderful meal. A very warm welcome and generous portions. Absolutely fantastic! 😋👍

We had dinner at the Auberge des Girards after checking our pockets to make sure we had enough cash, as they don't accept credit cards or checks! We enjoyed our meal despite the noisy dining room! Special mention goes to the very friendly and welcoming waitress, in contrast to the owner who made snide remarks when we pointed out that we hadn't ordered drinks because he doesn't accept credit cards, which these days, especially in such a remote village, is unthinkable!

I recommend this inn for its welcoming atmosphere and the quality of its charcuterie and excellent grated potatoes 🥰

We had lunch this Saturday at Les Girards and were completely satisfied with the quality and quantity of the food...from the potato pancakes and charcuterie to the perfectly cooked calf's head (4 slices). Congratulations to the staff...from the cooks to the three friendly waitresses. We will return or visit the second restaurant, Le Petit Relais, in Fraisses. The only downside...the back room echoes when it's full.

I loved this inn! Very generous portions. I recommend the potato pancakes. Super good. Not greasy. 👍😄 The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely go back. With parking, which is great. Very well signposted. It's convenient. My son had the burger. Awesome! He loved it. I highly recommend it. Oh yes! 😄😄👌

The grated cheese was very good. Salad. Cold cuts.

I recommend it, but be sure to book in advance as it's often full. The food is very good, the staff are very friendly, the atmosphere is very welcoming, and the prices are reasonable. Thank you, and keep up the good work! I'll be back.
