During a business lunch, I came with my manager. The meal was very good and plentiful. The atmosphere was friendly and the waitress was pleasant. I highly recommend it.

Appreciate the advice on wine pairings. Finally, meet the owner—a top-notch chef. An address to remember. A special mention for the duckling sauce, not to be missed.

A very warm welcome with a smile and a lovely spot on the terrace overlooking the Loir River – perfect! The set menu (starter, main course, dessert) is very affordable at €19 on weekdays. Good, home-style cooking by a meticulous chef, with simple dishes beautifully presented. I highly recommend it.

The exterior is unassuming, but it's worth venturing inside. Inside, you'll discover a restaurant from another era, with a lovely terrace overlooking the Loir River. We were seated on the terrace at a table draped with a tablecloth, just like at Grandma's—yes, really! The waitress was friendly and took our order: a wide selection of non-alcoholic aperitifs (and alcoholic ones too, I assure you). On this Sunday lunchtime, we opted for the €28 set menu: foie gras (with a €5 supplement, understandable given the price), duck breast with dauphinoise potatoes and a bundle of beans with citrus sauce, followed by a cheese plate (also an extra) and a floating island dessert. The foie gras was absolutely delicious and served in a reasonable portion. The duck was cooked to perfection. The gratin had a lovely garlicky flavor, and the bundle of beans was cooked just right. The floating island dessert is delicious, and the homemade custard is a rare find these days. The food is flawless, prepared by a gentleman who clearly knows his craft and is probably nearing retirement! The service is pleasant and very efficient, provided by a friendly young woman. So yes, the restaurant is a bit old-fashioned, but go there to rediscover traditional French cuisine without any fuss, at a very reasonable price.

What a fantastic discovery this restaurant was! We weren't quite sure what to expect based on some of the reviews, but after going, I think those comments were completely undeserved. The welcome was incredibly warm! Excellent service with a waitress who was always on the go, doing her best to please everyone. The food was simply superb! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves; the dishes were authentic and generous. Very good value for money. A pleasant atmosphere... in short, it's a wonderful family restaurant that's well worth a visit for a fantastic time. I highly recommend it and we'll definitely be back.

We had a perfect birthday dinner with plenty of high-quality food. The service from our server and the chef was remarkable and we‘re looking forward to coming back as soon as possible!

Had a lovely night at Restaurant L'Auberge with our group of 8. We were wonderfully looked after by our server, who was the chef's daughter. The classic French food was delicious and rustic, not at all over the top. Highly recommended if you're in Le Lude.

Just back from dinner at L'Auberge de Isles. Price/quality is unbeatable, 28 euros for a 3 course dinner... Moreover the dishes were very tasteful and well prepared. Service with a smile and we felt very welcome. Basic but very nice sitting space on the terasse. "Chapeau" to the energetic and friendly daughter who served us, and to her very hard working dad-chef in the kitchen. Thanks for this nice experience.
