Excellent restaurant. We loved everything about it - the food, the service and the ambience. We stayed overnight in the nearby Villa d'Helene and the owner recommended this restaurant.

Une des meilleures adresses de la région. Rapport qualité prix au top ! Belle salle de restaurant, belle terrasse l'été. En bref je recommande. Pensez réserver à l'avance !

Au Vieux Chalet

13/03/2024: 2 times I go there, it's 1 gourmet restaurant. Discovery menu at 45€, without drinks. Frankly, French cuisine and local Savoyard products, nothing to complain about... I left full and satisfied!
17/02/2024: Small rooms for a 4 star otherwise clean however the room with mezzanine the small bed not great and the mezzanine creaks a lot every time you move in the bed

14/03/2024: The other years I gave it 5/5 But lately it's really not the same level of service. We brought our friends back for whom we had given excellent publicity to the hostel and they came away disappointed with the service. For the donuts which should have been 5/person, some people got 4 and others 5 (not 6) and then it was €7 for 6 donuts. Regarding the menu, previously there were desserts on the menu and now they are no longer there. The cheese was served, a small piece of cheese to choose between tomme or roblochon, we had asked for bread to eat with the cheese and the waitress returned with 5 slices of bread for a table of 14. More and more disappointing and unfortunately we will not return there again. Too bad because the food remains delicious. Small clarification (we are customers who like to go to this restaurant every year not being from the region and coming from the north) and we are the couple who offered the 2 meals to the couple (who is also our family).
