During a weekend in the mountains, we stopped at this charming little restaurant with its rustic mountain atmosphere, enhanced by the all-wood decor. The prices are very reasonable and the food is excellent! It was impossible to have dessert because the portions were so generous! I highly recommend it!

Family atmosphere. Warm, authentic, and functional. 10 minutes by car from the ski resort. Restaurant featuring local produce. Brasserie area where you can mingle with locals and hear their juicy stories. Relaxation area with jacuzzi and sauna. A truly recommended spot. François and Aurélie.

A top-notch restaurant, impeccable ambiance and service, an unforgettable evening. We decided to celebrate an important event with the family and were truly delighted. The very kind owner accommodated all our requests. The children's menu was tailor-made, the adult menu was beautifully decorated and beautifully presented, and the taste was impeccable. Truly a wonderful discovery. Special thanks to Mêmete, who served us with a friendly smile. The cake to finish the dinner was beautiful and delicious, and the entire evening was beyond reproach. Very nice inn with a relaxation area (reservation required). Excellent food, 6 types of draft beer. Including the excellent "Paix Dieux." Efficient service and a warm welcome.

21/02/2026: Although the restaurant is self-service, the food is very good (local dishes) and competitively priced. The setting is pleasant and decorated like a barn/chalet. A great stop in the middle of a day of skiing or hiking.
19/02/2026: Absolutely loved Shmargult! An absolutely delicious experience from start to finish. The ham hock was perfectly prepared: tender, flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth… a true delight. The tofoi was also a wonderful surprise, bursting with flavor and prepared with great finesse. But then, a special mention for the rhubarb and raspberry tart… simply incredible! The balance between the rhubarb's tartness and the raspberry's fruity sweetness is perfectly executed. A true explosion of flavors in the mouth, and the best way to end the meal. All this accompanied by warm service and a very pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend it—can't wait to go back! 🍽️✨
