I must admit I wasn't expecting such a high level of cuisine in this restaurant, which I stumbled upon quite by chance.
The flavor combinations were perfectly chosen, the dishes meticulously prepared, down to the smallest detail. It was a feast for the eyes and the palate.
The service was impeccable, simply perfect.
In my opinion, one of the best restaurants in the Vosges, plain and simple!
28/04/2026: We celebrated a milestone birthday there with seven adults and enjoyed a wonderful culinary evening with excellent champagne and top-notch wines.
The interior was beautiful, the service incredibly friendly, the sommelier highly knowledgeable and attentive, and the wines excellent at very fair prices. The menu was delicious and also very reasonably priced. All in all: thank you so much for a stylish, relaxed, and fantastic evening – we highly recommend this restaurant!

The burger was very good. The vol-au-vent was excellent.
It's a shame the lamb for Easter was just average and practically without sauce.
Otherwise, nothing to report.
03/04/2026: Passing through the region, pure chance led us to the Auberge du Pont Jean D'Zoure! And what a pleasant surprise! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the staff are friendly, smiling, and attentive, and the food is delicious in its simplicity!
We highly recommend it!

26/02/2026: A must-visit for lovers of local cuisine. This restaurant offers exceptional views that perfectly complement its generous and distinctive dishes. Everything, from the food to the drinks, exudes regional authenticity. The prices are very reasonable, and children are well catered for thanks to half-size portions of the menu items. Reservations are highly recommended.
19/02/2026: We had a lovely time at this inn, a great find in the Vosges!
The road to the inn is a bit challenging, but the effort is well worth it.
The food is delicious, generous, and excellent value for money!
The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is very friendly.
I will definitely be back!

06/04/2026: We came as a family and had a wonderful time. The service was impeccable, and we received excellent advice: discovering Chilean wines, Vosges cheese, and more.
The decor is warm and inviting, creating a unique atmosphere.
Finally, the quality of the meal was incredible: flavorful, original, and perfectly cooked and presented. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves; thank you for everything.

Julie and her team always provide exceptionally warm service. You immediately feel at home. As for the food, Jonathan delights us every time with flavorful and perfectly executed dishes. It's a true pleasure to eat at Le Couchetat. You can go without hesitation!

The meal was truly incredible, but no less so than the servers, who were very friendly and attentive!
Special mention to the young waiter who's just starting out: he was fantastic!
12/04/2026: A true discovery. A warm welcome from smiling staff. The "pleasure menu" lives up to its name. It was a delight from start to finish. Perfect pairings and flavors. A special mention for the dessert, which was breathtaking.

04/11/2025: We discovered this restaurant in 2022, and when we returned this year, we made sure to book in advance because it's very popular, and for good reason: the food is excellent, both the pizzas and the generous salads. The setting is magnificent, with a lovely aquarium that attracts both children and adults. I didn't take any pictures of our meals; I simply didn't think of it 😅

02/05/2026: Wherever you start, the service is good and pleasant.
However, the dishes are overpriced for what they are and compared to the prices of nearby restaurants. €6 for 25cl of orange juice...
I didn't hate it, but waiting 30 minutes for a burger that was cooked incorrectly (I asked for rare, it arrived medium) and had onions that I asked them to remove (thankfully I'm not allergic) was unacceptable.
28/04/2026: We had a very good dinner; the chef even brought our food to us. We ate outside, which was lovely.
We ordered a surprise cocktail, and it was excellent.
This is a restaurant worth recommending.

21/02/2026: While on vacation, we ate twice at this restaurant run by a father and son, who were incredibly kind and whose homemade pizzas and pasta were amazing... I've never eaten such a good pizza... I usually leave the crust, but I ate it all. Fresh, high-quality ingredients. Don't hesitate! You'll have a wonderful time.

17/04/2026: Even though we arrived 1.5 hours early for dinner, we were able to enjoy a delicious cheese and meat platter with super crispy and fresh bread while waiting. This was enough for two, so a second course was not necessary. We finished off with a fantastic dessert. Both the coffee and the Aperol Spritz are highly recommended. We were welcome with our two dogs and the service was great for our entire party. We can definitely recommend this place.
15/04/2026: We went to the inn for dinner on Saturday evening. Everything on the menu was delicious and plentiful. We received a warm welcome. We will be back.

14/03/2026: The hosts are absolutely charming. The homemade breakfasts are hearty and delicious. The sauna offers a perfect moment of relaxation, and the property is beautifully surrounded by nature. The ski slopes are just a 10-minute drive away. A farm is only 3 minutes away, offering delicious local produce, and a beautiful lake is right next door. Lake Gérardmer is also very close. Honestly, a top-notch place!
